Something every guy will eventually have to do when they’re in a committed relationship, is go shopping with the beloved girlfriend.

Yes, maybe it looks like a total drag, tailing her around countless stores for what seems like eternity. But it’s not all that bad when you think about it.

If you have the patience, take a step back and think about what you have the chance to do.

You get to see a side of her that many others probably don’t really get a chance to see.

You’ll find out just what catches her eye and what doesn’t.

When she’s looking in the mirror, you could tell what she doesn’t like, or what makes her feel beautiful by the look on her face.

I think that is what it is all about—the way she sees herself.

Experience has taught me personally that her attitude is almost always directly correlated with the way she sees herself.

And I’m always hearing guys say that they’d rather a girl not wear make up.

But I don’t think they realize that most of the time, it’s not even for them.

A girl could just be wearing some just to look good. She could curl or straighten her just to look good. She will wear designer clothing to look good.

As long as in her eyes, she’s looking good.

Because if she looks good, she will most likely feel good.

About herself, especially.

I just feel like I’ve been looking at it all the wrong way.

And now I am appreciating all of that extra effort girls put in even when a guy isn’t around.

There is always one person to make happy.

Herself.
